Funeral Held For Mrs. Brooks
Mrs. Wesley Brooks, 78, died Oct. 8, 1948, at the Moultrie Hospital. Funeral services were held at The Church of God, Poulan, Ga., with Rev. J .W. Taylor and and the Rev. Ralph Phillips conducting the services. Interment was in the Sumner Cemetery, Sumner, Ga.
Mrs. Brooks is survived by two sons J W Brooks, Sumner and George Brooks, Lake Park; three daughters; Mrs. Della Lamb, Manchester, Ga., Mrs. J J Duckworth, Sumner and Mrs. W L Duckworth, Sumner, Ga . Twenty-six grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Eugene Duckworth, John Duckworth, J D Duckworth, Henry James, Wesley Lamb, and Joe Owens
