Tracy Gene Houston, 54, of Maiden passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at his residence.
He was born August 11, 1963 in Caldwell County to the late Robert and Norma Hartsoe Houston. Tracy was the owner/operator of Stinky’s Bait Company, a former member of Balls Creek Optimist Club and sang southern gospel music with his family, The Houston’s, for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

Wife of 33 years: Beth Mitchell Houston of the home
Son: Justin Houston of Maiden
Daughter: Samantha Houston and spouse Jeri of Mooresville
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Lawing’s Chapel Baptist Church in Maiden. Pastor Joel Harris will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the family’s residence.
Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
