Thomas Bryan Hodges, died on May 28, 2017, in Baltimore, MD.

Born December 12, 1951, in Amarillo, TX to the late James Oran and Catherine Marie (Plattner) Hodges, Thomas attended Annapolis High School. Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and subsequently deployed to Vietnam. While in Vietnam, Thomas was critically wounded and received several service awards, including the Purple Heart. He enjoyed following the Orioles, Ravens, University of MD teams and Maryland horse racing. Thomas had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews and also had great affection for all animals.
He was the beloved brother of J. Scott (Jeanne) Hodges, Sandra Jo (Daryl) Kneuth, Richard N. Hodges and the late James O. Hodges, Jr.; and the devoted uncle of Daniel, Ryan, Jim, Kimberly, Catherine, and Ricky.
A graveside service, with military honors, will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 1:45 p.m. at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville. Online tributes and condolences are available by visiting the link on this page.
