Doris Rudder Lynch

Doris Rudder Lynch, 90, of Vinton went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 29, 2017.
She was born in Halifax County daughter of the late Luther Thomas and Pearl Roark Rudder.
Doris was a lifelong member of Emmaus United Methodist Church in Moneta; a member of the Harmony Rebekah Lodge # 36. She worked many years in Dr. Greenway’s Dental office.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Wilber Lynch, Jr; brothers-in-law Jack Lynch, Wesley Lynch (Gloria); sister in law Helen Hurt; several nieces and nephews including a very special nephew, Donnie Lantz.
Her family will receive friends on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Oakey’s Vinton chapel at 1:00 PM followed by a graveside funeral service at 3:00PM at Mountain View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers it was her wish that memorials be made to Emmaus United Methodist Church c/o Brenda Watson, 2135 Mead Valley Rd., Moneta VA
