Wesley had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up a room. He had compassion for everyone he met. He was a sophomore at Hibriten High School, where he was an honor student and in the masonry program. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his friends and family, playing video games, and playing the bass guitar. He also enjoyed the Carolina Panthers and often wore his favorite color, Carolina blue. Wesley was a member of Indian Hills Baptist Church.
Survivors left to cherish his memory, in addition to his parents, include two brothers, Seth K. Oliver and Brian C. Oliver; his grandfather, Alfred Oliver; special cousin, Angela Oliver, who was like his second mother; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
