BRECKENRIDGE -- Pauline Bell, age 94 of Breckenridge, died Thursday, March 22, 2007, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 24th, at Morehart Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Cecil Harper officiating. Burial will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery under the direction of Morehart Mortuary. Visitation will be Friday evening, March 23rd, from 6 to 7 p.m.
Pauline Herrmann was born on September 6, 1912 in the Pearl Community of Coryell County, Texas to parents, Asa Herrmann in Clara Scott Herrmann. She graduated from Alexander High School in Alexander, Texas and attended Tarleton State College. She married Herbert Spencer Bell on December 28, 1932 in Comanche, Texas. They made their home Dublin for thirty years. While in Dublin Pauline was active in the school PTA and Thursday Study Club. Pauline and Herbert moved from Dublin to Breckenridge in 1961. They owned and operated the Holiday Hills Motel and Greyhound Bus Station. Pauline was a member of First Baptist Church where she attended the Martha Sunday School Class and was active in the Triple LLL. She was also a member of the Women's Club and the Women's Forum.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Herbert Bell, on November 16, 1991, four sisters, Eunice Keen, Bernice Herrmann, Oreon Brann and Edith Milsap and three brothers, Glenn Herrmann, D.W. Herrmann and Charles Herrmann.
Pauline is survived by one son, Charles Bell & wife, Phyllis, of Bradford, PA; one daughter, Paula & husband, Durwin Hill, of Kerrville; one sister, Billie Wilks of Fort Worth; five grandchildren, Christi & husband, Daniel Marrufo, of Austin, Sherri & husband, Gerry Grafa, of Horeshoe Bay, Joan & husband, Ray Wiederhold, of Abbington, MD, Sandy & husband, Frank Patchel, of Seven Valleys, PA, and Steven Bell & wife, Katie, of Boulder, CO.; and ten great grandchildren.
