Age 75 of Madison, TN passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Skyline Medical Center. She was born May 14, 1942 in Nashville, TN to Robert & Willie Mae Collins Wright. She worked in Business Administration for Cigna before her retirement. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Gene Lawson; son, Nicholas Lawson. She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Monica Noble-Lawson) Lawson, Chicago, IL; daughter, Gracie (Anne Patterson) Lawson, Orlando, FL; daughter-in-law, Kari Monahan, Cape Cod, Massachusetts; brothers, Larry (Vicki) Jones and Joe Jones, both of Nashville, TN; sister, Linda Baker, Hendersonville, TN; sister-in-law, Sue (Michael) McCratic, Arnold, CA; 3 grandchildren, Will Deagan-Rinali, Michaela Noble-Lawson & Jacob Noble-Lawson.
She loved watching Steve Harvey and Family Feud and was an avid Merle Haggard fan. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, where she attended until her health prevented her from attending services regularly. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, December 2, 2017 in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Bro. Ashley Mofield officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation is planned for Saturday, December 2, 2017 10am-2pm at the funeral home.
