Marshall Dean "Grizzly" Campbell, 68, of Wilmington died on November 23, 2017. He was born in Anderson County, SC on November 9, 1949 to the late Wilma Campbell Brock and was raised by his grandparents Albert and Leona Campbell who also preceded him in death.
Marshall had a passion for all things hunting and fishing. He also loved to work with his hunting dogs that he raised. Marshall was faithful to his church and loved his church family at Cape Fear Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Judy Huddleston Campbell; his son's Scott Campbell and Shane Campbell; and sister Cathy Atkins.
A visitation will be held Monday, November 27, 2017 from 6pm to 8pm, at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 1pm at Cape Fear Baptist Church 7300 Carolina Beach Rd. Wilmington 28412 with Pastor David Braddy officiating. Interment will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
