Mr. Charles "Denver" Mahoney, age 83, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on May 27, 1934 in Trimble County Kentucky. He was the loving son of Charles Lucian and Laura Gertrude King Mahoney. He was raised in Trimble county then moved to Jefferson county Indiana in 1957. He married the love of his life, Marjorie Ann Wise, on June 16, 1954 in Madison, Indiana. This happy union of nearly 61 years was blessed with a daughter, Diana, and two sons, Charles K. and Garry D. He was inducted into the United States Army in 1955. He served in Germany and was discharges as Private First Class in 1957. He worked for thirty-three years at Williamson Heater, two years with Ronnie Collins Tool and Die, and two years with Taylor Tool and Die. He was a member of Calvary Wesleyan Church. He loved spending time with his family, his grandkids, his dog and traveling. Charles Denver died on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at 1:35 a.m. at the River Terrace Health Campus in downtown Madison, Indiana.

Charles Denver will be missed by his loving daughter, Diana Lynn Rusk and her husband, Doug of Hanover, Indiana; his loving sons, Charles Kevin Mahoney and his wife, Penny of Madison, Indiana, Garry Dean Mahoney and his wife, Audie of Madison, Indiana; his loving grandchildren, Cody Mahoney (Jenn), Casey Rusk (Courtney), Andy Mahoney (Justine), Katey Mahoney (Jacob), Caley Mahoney (Nick) and Bristy Zike (Seth); his adoring great-grandchildren, Lane Allen and Lexi Zike and Jackson and Tatum Rusk, Charles Allen Mahoney; his loving brother, Rev. Monty Mahoney and his wife Karen of Madison, Indiana; his loving sisters, Bonnie Corrine Tilley of Carrollton, Kentucky, Evelyn Louise Wingham and her husband, Tommy of Bedford, Kentucky, Virginia Ann Youngblood Manship of Madison, Indiana; two his sisters in law, Bonnie Jean Mahoney of Madison, Indiana, Barbara Ann Stanley Mahoney of Lexington, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lucian Mahoney, died August 19, 1986, his mother, Laura Gertrude King Mahoney, died February 2, 2011, his brothers, Norman Delbert Mahoney, died in 1969 and Larry Howard Mahoney, died September 16, 2017, his sisters, Mary Ethel Hamilton, died August 9, 1991 and her husband, Donald, died August 14, 2005, and Margaret Alice Purvis, died March 10, 2010 and her husband, Robert Lindsey, died December 20, 2008, his grandchild, Shelby Mahoney, died August 30, 1990, his beloved wife of nearly 61 years, Marjorie Ann Wise Mahoney, died April 9, 2015, his brothers in law, Norman Tilley, died September 2, 2012, Kenny Youngblood and Stanley Manship, his sister in law, Betty Jo Mahoney, died March 21, 1967.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., by Pastor Monty L. Mahoney at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton, Kentucky.

VISITATION
Friends may visit Saturday from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.

MILITARY HONORS
A final salute will be conducted on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre with full military honors to follow at the Moffett Cemetery by Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion.

MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONS
Memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Wesleyan Church or the American Diabetes Association or the Spina Bifida Research.
