Judy Moon Rowe passed away peacefully surrounded by her family the morning of July 6th, 2016. Judy was the 3rd child born to Lyle & Winnie Moon in Rexburg, ID on August 12, 1945 and lived in Sugar City for the first 21 years of her life. Edwin & Judy were married on December 27, 1965 and moved to Utah soon after. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan Temple on December 6, 1968. They have been residents of Farr West for 37 years.

Judy died fighting breast cancer that was diagnosed 3 years ago. She was very close to death's door after the first round of chemo; but she chose to fight. She faced this sickness with grace, courage and determination and was the epitome of a true survivor. Judy also chose to truly live and devoted the rest of her life to being with family, giving service and experiencing new and adventurous things. Judy is the core of her family and she made sure we stayed as close by hosting monthly family dinners, game nights and annual family vacations at their cabin in Bear Lake.

She had many jobs over the years, but the one she had the most pride in was working for Parker-Hannifin. Judy was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings. Judy and Ed served a part-time service mission at Temple Square. Serving in her community was also as important to her. She volunteered at the Farr West Senior Center. She was the first recipient of the "Make a Difference" award from Farr West City.
Judy was many things to many people but if we had to sum her up she was a woman of strength, courage, selflessness, patience, determination, loyalty, love, service and above all else, she was seriously goofy and proud of it.

She is survived by her husband Edwin Rowe; her siblings; Dean (JayAnn) Moon, JoAnn King, Rodney (Alice) Moon and Hal (Sybil) Moon; her children Wendy (Barry) Bundy, Sherry (Allen) Daley, Daniel (Janette) Rowe and Brandon (Mariko) Rowe; 11 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents Lyle & Winnie Moon and her brother Gary Lyle Moon.

We would like to recognize the care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Huntsman Cancer Institute and The University of Utah Neuro Critical Care Unit. A very special thanks goes to the Oncology team of Dr. John H Ward, Rosemary T. Conder and Allison McMahamon.

Services for Judy will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at 11 a.m. at the Farr West Popular Stake Center, 1745 N 2300 W, Farr West. A viewing will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden, and prior to services at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Judy's life.
