Mrs. Ada Martha Cleek, 91, a resident of the Crystal community, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, at Union City Manor & Rehab.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday at White-Ranson Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Southerland officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery, Crystal.
Pallbearers will be Cecil Clayton, Garrett Matheny, Randy Barnes, Justin Wiles and Jimmy Lane Barnes.
Mrs. Cleek was born on December 16, 1925, in Union City, TN, daughter of the late Fred and Aladar (Easterwood) Barnes. She married Thomas Leon Cleek, Sr. December 26, 1945. He preceded her in death on December 21, 2007.
Mrs. Cleek was retired from Sears and H & R Block where she worked for 25 years. She was a member of Antioch Union United Methodist Church , Order of the Eastern Star and the Daughters of American Revolution.
Mrs. Cleek is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Robert Peterson of Whiteville, Tn; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Thomas Leon Cleek, Jr. of Milan, and Jimmy Allen and Ruth Cleek of Newbern, Tn; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildre; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Jimmy Barnes; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Jill Cleek; four sisters and two brothers.
