Diane J. Morrison, 75 of Belpre, Ohio died on November 28, 2017 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born January 3, 1942 in Detroit, MI and was the daughter of the late Gary and Grace Lubitz Hall. She was a member of the North Parkersburg Baptist Church. She loved reading, sewing, and spending time with family and served many years in her church as a prayer warrior.
Surviviors include her husband James D. Morrison, three daughters, Patricia Buck ( Charles) of Marietta, Ohio, Carol Patterson, of Belpre, Ohio, Sandra Chadwell (John) of Virginia, and a son, Dale Morrison (Marcia) of Florida. Also surviving are a brother, Glenn Hall (Dawn) of Michigan, two sisters, Norene Dean (Jim) of Louisana and Leslie Sutter Hall of Michigan, two grandchildren, Nathan Morrison (Makaela) and Courtney Shutts of Ohio and five great grandchildren. Also surviving are special friends, Ken and Carolyn Hoelscher, and her Middleton Doll friends, Shirley Taylor and Judy Pennick.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Caroline McNeily.
Services will be on Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Mike Towner officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockland Cemetery.
