Helen J. Keenan, 83, of North Bend, Washington (formerly of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas) passed away Monday, August 7, 2017. Helen was born June 14, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois to Theodore and Stephanie Eddy. Helen was in sales for Helzberg Jewelers for many years, loved playing cards, and placed her family at the center of her life. She is preceded in death by James C. Keenan, her husband of 61 years, and by her parents. Helen was an only child.
Mrs. Keenan is survived by her two sons: James (Diane) Keenan and Patrick Keenan, three daughters: Jean (David) McGuire, Suzanne (Frank) Mocker and Christine (Marty) Fagan, seven grandchildren: Kelly, DJ, Kaitlyn, Anna, Lindsey, Jessica and Keenan, three great-grandchildren: Seli, James and Adaline, and there are two great-grandchildren on the way - Baby Brown and Baby McGuire.
A Funeral Mass will be held August 10th at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 200 Mt. Park Bouleveard SW, Issaquah, WA 98027. There will be an open casket viewing at the church from 10:15am - 11:00am. Cascade Memorial is handling the funeral arrangements.
Mrs. Keenan will be laid to rest in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas with her husband. The viewing in Hot Springs Village at CedarVale Funeral Home will be August 13 followed by a graveside service and short reception at CedarVale Funeral Home.
