Henry Page Hill, Jr., age 83, of Pataskala, OH, son of Henry and Alice (Pearson-Brown) Hill, born on September 16, 1934 in Hinton, WV, departed this life on November 24, 2017 at Mt Carmel East hospital surrounded by loving family and friends. Retired from AT&T/Lucent (Western Electric) after 35 years of service, he enjoyed bartending, golf, archery (Whitehall Rec. Sagittarians), traveling, tending to his yard and always had a beloved dog to spoil. He relied on his belief and faith in God to sustain him in good and bad times. He served his country during the Korean War and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1962. Survived by daughters, Marquita L. Brown of Upper Marlboro, MD; Stephanie R. Hill of Columbus, OH; step-son, Jimmy Julian (Dana) of Johnstown, OH; brother, George E. Brown of St. Albans, WV; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and will be missed by many dear friends and neighbors. Preceding him in death are his parents, wife Patricia A. Ballard Hill, ex-wife Odessa Gunn Hill, brothers John Hubert Brown, Benjamin Brown, Burley Lee Brown, William Preston Brown and Allen O. Bowler. Special thanks to the staff of Mt Carmel East NSICU, Pickerington Fresenius Kidney Care and all of the physicians, nurses, nurse's aides and therapists from other hospitals and rehab services who played a role in caring for him during the last 18 months of his life.
