Loretta Young passed away on Tues., November 28, 2017 at the Forsyth Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on September 7, 1938 at Rockaway Beach, MO., daughter of Albert and Martha (Roberts) Moore.
Loretta married Carl Young in Harrison, AR., on June 11, 1969. She was a lifelong resident of Taney County. Loretta was a musician, singing and playing guitar at Blue Grass gatherings, and playing in a band in earlier years. She played the piano at church, where she was a member of Bryant Ridge Church at Taneyville, MO. Loretta was a devoted and loving mother and wife.
She is survived by her husband; children, Ricky Reding of Rockaway Beach, MO., Laura Morgan of Taneyville, MO., 2 grandchildren, Justin Gibson and Amber Gibson; and 4 great-granddaughters; and brother, Lerry Moore of Bella Vista, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lindell Moore; and sister, Sonja Stacer.
