At this time there is not much known about Oscar.

His obit in the Arizona Republic newspaper says he had no known survivors and was a bartender. At the time of his death he was not married living at 3300 E Roosevelt in Phoenix. He came to Arizona in 1935.

Oscar was married to Helen Loretta Williams on 31 March 1940 in Tempe, Maricope County, Arizona. They divorced 4 December 1945.

It appears Oscar had no children. And at this time his parents are unknown.

All the way back in 1937, in the Phoenix city directory, Oscar is listed as a bartender.

Bet he could make a good drink, as up until his death at age 82 he was a bartender.

Oscar served in some capacity in the military, as there is a Us Dept Of Veterans Affairs BIRLS file identifying his birth date, death date and his social security number.

I stumbled upon Oscar's obit while looking for someone else. And as with any death I find where to-date their existence has gone un-noticed, I simply had to create a memorial to show that Oscar lived his life and I'm sure there were others in his life that noticed his passing.
