Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Visitation: will be on Friday, December 1, 2017 Gregory W. Spencer Funeral Directors,  from 12-6:30 PM with the family present from 5:30-6:30 PM, Left with fond memories, children, Lois Brinkley, Earl Hicks, Norman Hicks, Vernon Hicks, Sidney Hicks, Lana Polite and Mark Hicks; brother, Sidney Blanks; sisters, Jo Ann Williams and Lela Thompson. 14 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces friends and family.
