Frances Blanche Withem, 94, of Ashdown, AR passed away November 28, 2017 in Ashdown. She was born January 10, 1923 in White Cliffs, AR to John and Dena Sample.
She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Ashdown.
Mrs. Withem is preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Erna Withem, one sister, Alma Sample, and one brother, Malcolm Sample.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Gail Withem of Hot Springs, AR, one grandson, Bradley Morgan of China, one granddaughter, Rachel Turner and her husband, Caleb of Prairie Grove, AR, one great-granddaughter, Tinley Turner of Prairie Grove, AR, one step-daughter, Ernestene Lewis of Ashdown, AR, one sister-in-law, Stella Sample of Russellville, AR, two brothers, Alton Sample and his wife Betty Jo of Louisiana, Harold Sample and his wife, Elizabeth of Dallas, TX and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 2:00 at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown with a visitation prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00. Reverend Don Embry will be officiating. Interment to follow at Arden Cemetery.
