Ralph D Trosper, a member of a pioneer Merced county family, passed away last Saturday morning at the home of his sister, Mrs Josie Bartlett, in this city, death coming after an illness of only a few days from acute indigestion and flu.
Mr Trosper was born in Kansas fifty two years ago and came to California with his parents when he was a small child. He spent the greater portion of his life residing at Snelling and in Merced, and for the past eight years had been employed as a member of the construction crew for the San Joaquin Light and Power company. He was a steady and industrious man, honest and upright, and commanded the respect and esteem of all with whom, he came in contact.
Surviving relatives are three sisters and four brothers
