~OBITUARY OF MARY ELLEN STURDIVAN
Mary Ellen STURDIVAN, 92, Guymon resident since 1907, died at Dunaway Manor early Thursday morning.
The daughter of Andy and Sarah COCHRAN, she was born December 15, 1893 at Blythdale, Missouri.
She came with her parents through Woodward and on to Guymon where they homesteaded.
She married to Joe STURDIVAN April 17, 1911. He preceded her in death in 1958. She attended the Fernwood and Block Schools north of Mouser. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
She had been a resident of the manor for four months.
Survivors include three daughters, Velma THRALL and Dorothy KLEFFMAN of Guymon, Jean BROWNING of Hooker; two sons, Gerald STURDIVAN of Guymon, Walter STURDIVAN of Stockton, California; nineteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; and five great-great- grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the First Christian Church with Dr. Jere Wells officiating..
Interment will be in the Hooker Cemetery under the direction of the Bunch Funeral Home.
