Rex William Bybee 89 years, passed away peacefully in his sleep in Pocatello, Idaho on November 27th, 2017.
He was born in Downey, Idaho to Guy and Loreta Bybee on November 30th, 1927.
Rex lived in Downey until he was drafted in the Army and served in World War II. When he came home he met the love of his life, Norma Jean Harris and they married on August 3, 1949. They raised their 4 children in Ogden, Utah. He worked in construction where he Drywalled for many years, before providing security for Boeing and working in the Wyoming Oilfields. They then returned to Downey to enjoy their passion of horses and raising sheep.
He is survived by his son Daniel (Annette) Bybee of Brigham City, Utah, Daughters Janet (Rick) Casanova of Las Vegas, Nevada, Sandra (Tom) House of Seminole, Texas and their families.
He is preceded in Death by his wife Norma Jean, daughter Carolyn Bybee, his parents and siblings.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 2nd, at 11:00 am in the Downey Cemetery, Downey, Idaho.
