Sadie Verna Benke was born and raised on her family's dairy farm near Leduc, Alberta (outside Edmonton). Verna married Dave Love in 1959 and together they enjoyed golf, gardening, fishing, and taking holiday trips to see family and friends.
Verna passed away peacefully at Whitehorn Village Residence in Calgary. She is survived by her sister-in-law and will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her children, stepchildren, grand children, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband Dave in 1997 and siblings Ethel, Reuben, Milbert, Jothan, Leona, and Lawrence.
