Karen L. (Proehl) Reynolds, age 60 of Englewood, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017. Karen was a 1975 graduate of Trotwood Madison High School where she was a cheerleader, and later attended Miami University. She worked for O R Edgington Elementary School as well as Englewood Hills Elementary School as an Assistant School Secretary. Karen enjoyed planting flowers, watching movies and decorating her home. She was a wonderful cook, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family. Karen is survived by her husband of 41 years, Kerry Reynolds; children, Kyle (Catherine) Reynolds of Cincinnati, and Kelly (Jake) Woolbright of Michigan; mother, Sue (Egan) Proehl; 2 grandchildren, Annelise Reynolds and Hyde Woolbright; brother, Kraig (Susan) Proehl of Colorado, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Ron Proehl. Private services for Karen are in the care of Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood). If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420) or the Hairy Cell Leukemia Foundation (575 Madison Ave. 10th Floor, New York, NY 10022).
