He was preceded in death by his parents, Tyrus and Mary Cobb; siblings, Bobby Cobb, Pat Cobb Nelson, Tommy Cobb; aunt, Avis Handley; and niece, Leigh Ann (Cobb) Davis. He is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, daughter, two grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, nine nieces and nephews, ten great-nieces and great-nephews, and three great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
