Margie McNair-Hudson was born on November 18, 1962 to the late James Roy Hill and the late Mildred McNair Hill. She accepted Christ into her life at an early age at the Mount Aldred Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Warrenton, GA. Margie received her childhood education from the public schools of Warren County, GA. On November 12, 2014, while resting at her earthly residence located at 306 Anderson Avenue in Thomson, GA, Margie was called to her permanent home by a Heavenly-Sent Angel. She is preceded in death by two siblings: a sister, Sherry A. Sandford and a brother, Jerry McNair. She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving husband, Willie C. Hudson of Thomson, GA; one daughter, Tenisha McNair of Thomson, GA; one son, Marcus (Krystal) Thomas of Thomson, GA; three grandchildren: one devoted grandson, Demarcus McGahee whom she accepted as her own son, a granddaughter, KaNiayh Thomas and an additional grandson, Trenton Reese, all of Thomson, GA; three step-daughters, Tywonda Hudson, Toshia Hudson, both of Thomson, GA, and Shequita (Shondarian) Jones of Albany, GA; three step-sons, Derrick Hudson of Augusta, GA, Marco Hudson and Marchello Hudson, both of Thomson, GA; fifteen step-grandchildren; two sisters, Annette (Larry) Norman of Warrenton, GA and Linda (Henry) Myers of Hephzibah, GA; one brother, James Roy (Rosella) McNair of Mesena, GA; a god-sister, Sandra (Melvin) Norman of Lincolnton, GA; a grandmother, Lovenia Hamilton of Thomson, GA; three aunts, Margeree (Rev. John) Smalley, Louise (James Roy) Burnett, both of Thomson, GA, Ola (Randolph) Ivey of Warrenton, GA; two uncles, Lent (Virginia) McNair, Thomas (Hattie) Hill, both of Thomson, GA; three great-aunt, Iola McNair of Warrenton, GA, Flora (Jerodous) Allen all of Thomson, GA, Esther Terry of New York, NY; one great-uncle, Leonard Greenwood of Beach Island, SC; a father-in-law, R. Public visitation will begin on Saturday, November 15th, from 12-8 p.m. and on the day of service from 9 a.m. until 12 noon at the funeral home. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:30-2:30 p.m. for additional public viewing.
