Kenneth I. (Kenny) Hall passed away October 27, 2017 at Valley Memorial Homes – Woodside Village.

Kenny was born October 20, 1921 in Red Lake Falls MN. He was one of four children of Omer and Ida (Lemieux) Hall. Raised in Red Lakes Falls and Grand Forks ND he graduated from St. James High School and attended the University of North Dakota.

During World War II Kenny enlisted in the US Marine Corp and served in the Pacific theatre. After the war he returned to Grand Forks to work and continue college. He married Frances C. Krefting on February 19, 1950. They owned The Rose Flower Shop in Grand Forks from 1952-1984. After retiring, he worked for Twin City Florist Supply.

Kenny was a long time member of Rotary International, BPOE Elks, VFW and the American Legion. He enjoyed UND "Fighting Sioux" hockey and football and playing cards with neighbors and friends.

Kenny is survived by a son Mark (Julie) of Grand Forks and granddaughters Lindsey (Rusty) Rusteberg of Dallas TX and Callie Hall of Minneapolis MN. Preceding him in death were his wife, Frances, his parents, two sisters Esther Gerszewski and Mary Ann Hall and a brother Van Hall.

Funeral arrangements are with Amundson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Monday, November 6 at 1:30 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorials can be sent to the United Way of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks & Area to benefit the Imagination Library's preschool children reading program, the Community Foundation of Grand Forks, East Grand Forks & Region's General Fund or Valley Memorial Foundation.
