Obituary of Sheryl White
LUGOFF – Funeral service for Sheryl Cornelia White, 47, will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Charles Davis will be officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday 6-7:30 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home.

Miss White died Monday, December 26, 2011. Born in Camden, she was a daughter of the late Charlton and Irene Murphy White. She received an Associate Degree from Denmark Technical College. She was a member of St. Matthew Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, shopping, and music.

Surviving are her son, William White of Columbia; sisters, Henrietta Qualls of Elgin, Rubye Carter of Elgin, Charlene White Martin of Lugoff, Charlene Smalls (Ira) of Charlotte, N.C., and Elissa White of Camden; and brothers, Larry Murphy of Camden, Bervin White (Gloria) of Indianapolis, Ind., and Horace White of Ridgeway.
