Harmon William Myers, 98, of Clarion, passed away November 25, 2017 at Shippenville Healthcare and Rehabilitation where he had just recently begun residing.

He was born on January 15, 1919 in Curllsville, Licking Township, Clarion County, the son of the late Clarence and Margaret (Keister) Myers. After he graduated from high school, he served his country as member of the United States Army during World War II as a motorcycle messenger in the European Theater of operations. He enjoyed telling folks about his adventures while serving in France.

On March 6, 1941, he married Doris L. Myers, who preceded him in death in October, 2005. He worked for Owens-Illinois Glass in Lakeland, Florida, then moved back to the Clarion area in 1997. He was a member of the Curllsville United Methodist Church.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Myers; and a sister, Betty Myers.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home and Crematory in Clarion. As per Harmon's wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Interment will be in the Old Churchville Cemetery.
