John J. Simone Sr., 79, of Syracuse, passed away Friday at Loretto Highland House. Surviving are his children, John (Sharon) Jr., Dana (Ted) Drayer and Diana (Richard) Stafford; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Tony, Johnny and Robert. Relatives and friends may call Thursday, November 30 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Services will follow at noon at the funeral home. John will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation, P.O. Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
