Obituary for Pat Franklin Moore
A graveside service for Pat Franklin Moore of Cordele will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2017 at Cedar Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to leaving for the cemetery Monday at Rainey Family Funeral Services. Pat, 73, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 at Crisp Regional Hospital. A Crisp County native, he was the son of the late Charlie Leon Moore and Verlie Christine McAfee Moore. He was a farmer and an active member of Lake Blackshear Baptist Church. His passion for farming extended to others because he so enjoyed giving away the harvest that he made. In past years he also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his children, a daughter and her husband, Tina M. and Roy Powell of Cordele and a son and his wife, William Franklin and Alexandra Moore of Tifton; a brother and his wife, Don and Carol Ann Moore of Cordele; and six grandchildren, Hunter Powell, Harlee Powell, Liam Moore, Tucker Bryan, Austin Bryan and Morgan McDonnell.
