CEDAR FALLS-Velma G. Warner, 81, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center in Waterloo.
She was born January 6, 1936 in Perry, Iowa, the daughter of John and Deo James Reece. She married Bernard L. Warner May 4, 1954, in Albert Lea, MN. He died August 19, 1999.
Survived by: two sons, Jeffrey (Yvonne) Warner of Waterloo and David Warner of Traer; two daughters, Janis Winfrey of Indiana and Lori Niedert of Waterloo; eleven grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; and one sister, Carol (Lowell) Peters of Panora.
Preceded by: four brothers, John, Clarence, George Reece and one in infancy, sister Arvis, and two grandchildren in infancy.
Services 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Faith Wesleyan Church, with interment in the Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Richardson Funeral Service in Cedar Falls.
