Pamela Sue Williams Childers, 59 years old, of Fulton, passed away at her home on Thursday, November 23, 2017. She was surrounded by her family.

Pamela was born on June 6, 1958, in Fulton, Callaway County, at the Memorial Hospital, the youngest daughter of the late Thomas "Tommy" Stanley and Geraldine "Jerry" Louise Braden Williams.

Pamela enjoyed playing cards, especially with her sister Sandi and her children, spending time with her family and attending family events always brought her great pleasure. Always looking for a bargain, she enjoyed going to the Clothes Cupboard and going to garage sales. Her favorite past times were gambling at the casino, playing Bingo and especially spending time with her first grandchild, Lilly Ann. She was anxiously awaiting the birth of her grandson in April.

Pamela is survived by her children, Shannon Omega Pitt and Travis Lee Pitt of the home, granddaughter, Lilly Ann Pitt and her mother, Jessy Love, sisters, Marsha Lynn Williams Byrd (Charles "Buddy"), Patricia "Patty" Louise Williams Atterberry (Paul), Sandra "Sandi" Lee Williams Estabrook, all of Fulton, nieces, Michelle "Shelly" Lynn Byrd Schroer, Tina Louise Stewart Gallup (Jesse), Brandy Nicole Atterberry Coffelt (Joe), nephews , Michael "Dusty" Byrd, Aaron Thomas Atterberry (Sarah), James "Jimmy" Wayne Stewart (Julie), Timothy "Timmy" Lee Stewart, Derek Paul Allen Atterberry, all of Fulton, one aunt, Kay Williams of Auxvasse, great-nieces, Tristina Michelle Byrd Atterberry (William), Lauran Schroer, Jasmine Stewart, Megan and Erika Lynn Byrd, Jordan Atterberry, Olivia Coffelt, Silver, Starley, Shaylena and Serenity Gallup, great-nephews, Joshua Devon Charles Byrd, Gage Michael Byrd, Shawn Michael Browning, Jerod Atterberry, Jace Atterberry, Jerimiah and Jedidiah Gallup, James Stewart, Timmy Stewart Jr. and Brandon Mallicoat, Great-great-niece Serenity Byrd, Great-Great-nephews, Ryan Nathanial, Logan Xavier and Aiden Charles Atterberry, Cooper Atterberry, numerous cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, second husband, Robert Childers, niece, Misty DeLynn Louise Atterberry, brothers-in-law, James Stewart Sr. and Larry Estabrook, grandparents, Joseph Thomas "Tom" and Lela Lessie Craighead Williams and James Perry and Zula Clampet Braden, numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm on December 16, 2017, at Heartland Church of the Nazarine with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating. A dinner will follow the service at the church. Please bring memories of Pam to share.

Thanks to the University of Missouri Hospital and Prefered Hospice, with a special thanks to Rhonda, Jody and Chaplain Eddie. Also a special thanks to Sandy Waggoner and Karin Franzer for helping.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Maupin Funeral Home to help with final expenses.

Birthday Supper:

A birthday dinner was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Williams, Fulton, April 28, 1974 on Sunday.
It was held to honor Miss Patty Williams 21 and Mrs. Jim (Sandi) Stewart age 20, daughters of Thomas and Jerry Williams.
Guests were Mrs. Lela Williams Pugh, grandmother of the honorees, Pam Williams, sister of Patty and Sandra, Mrs. Charles (Marsha) Byrd, oldest sister of Patty, Sandra and Pam, Aaron Williams, son of Patty, Jimmy Stewart, son of Sandra, Lisa, Michael and Michelle, children of Charles and Marsha and Mr. Jim Stewart, husband of Sandra.
A cake was baked by Marsha Byrd and was enjoyed along with coffee and tea.
