Professional Football Player. He played the defensive end position for the National Football League's Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, and Atlanta Falcons from 1994 to 2002. He played football collegiately at Alcorn State University where he made 119 tackles with nine sacks as a senior in 1993 and was first team All-SWAC. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the first round of the 1994 NFL Draft and played for them for five seasons before being selected by the Cleveland Browns in the 1999 expansion draft. While with the Bears, he appeared in 73 games and made 28 starts. He made 12 ½ sacks and had one interception and is tied for the franchise record for fumble recoveries in one game with three in a 35-32 victory over the Houston Oilers on Oct. 22, 1995. He suffered an ACL injury in 1997 and this slowed him during the next season. He played for the Browns for one year and had seven sacks after being moved to the linebacker position, where he had played in college. He joined the Green Bay Packers in 2000 and played for them for two years. He ended his NFL career in 2002 with the Atlanta Falcons. He passed away after suffering a heart attack.
