Mr. Dill was born June 18, 1928, in Belden and lived there his entire life. He was a member of Belden United Methodist Church and was very active in Boy Scout troops and councils throughout the area. Mr. Dill also was active in the Midview High School Athletic Boosters. He was Volunteer of the Year in the Tamiami Village of Fort Meyers for 2000. He was employed by McMilliam Construction Co.
He is survived by his wife, Frances, to whom he was married 52 years, daughter, Donna (Bobby) Mitchell of West Milford, W.Va.; son, Robert (Wendy) Dill of Cape Coral, Fla.; two grandchildren; and brother, Luke Dill of Rhode Island.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Anna Dill Leathers; sister, Evelyn Ritter; and brothers, Ward, Ted, Dan and Ren.
Service: 10 a.m. Monday at Blackburn Funeral Home Inc., 1021 Main St., Grafton. The Rev. Larry Black, pastor of Leroy United Methodist Church and formerly of Belden United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Burial: Belden Cemetery, Grafton Township.
Visiting hours: 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
