David was a Control System Specialist for DTE. He was a Master Mason with Port Huron Lodge #58 F & AM and a long time Fellow member of Moose Lodge #158. His passion was golf and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki; three sons, John "Eric" (Kirsten) Courtney of West Virginia, Derek (Amy) Courtney of Nebraska and Don Tomalo of Clyde Twp; three daughters, Andrea (Vince Bailey) Courtney of West Virginia, Shelley (Luke) Ressler of Marysville and Angela (Gaylon) Jolley of Capac; 13 grandchildren; his brother, Jim Courtney; and five nieces.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Frances Courtney Conkle; and a brother, Jerry Courtney.
Private family services will be held. Arrangements are by Smith Family Funeral Home-North, 1525 Hancock Street, Port Huron, Michigan.
