Jean C. Snow, 89, of Watertown, passed away at Marquardt Health Center in Watertown on Saturday, March 15, 2014.
A Memorial Service will be at noon on Saturday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Watertown with the Rev. Dean Natterstad officiating.
Relatives and friends may call to pay their respects at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Donations in Jean’s name are suggested to the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church Sound System.
Jean C. Craik was born in Superior on January 11, 1925, daughter of Robert and Ellen (Carlson) Craik. She attended Superior Central and graduated from East High School. Jean then attended a business college and had been employed for the US. Navy office during the war.
On July 17, 1943, she married the love of her life Donald Snow in Superior. They were married for 69 years.
Jean also worked as a medical secretary for Dr. Sincock Johnson in Superior and Dr. Miller in Watertown.
She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church and a former member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Superior. She enjoyed spending winters in Mission Texas and summers in Iron River, WI. Jean loved ballroom dancing, listening to music and traveling the United States from coast to coast.
Survivors include her children, Donald (Gloria) Snow of Watertown; Ellen (Jim) Conant of Watertown; Mark Snow of Superior; six grandchildren, Jason (Shannon) Snow of Watertown; Jeremy (Jessie) Snow of Madison; Andrew Conant of Watertown; Paul (Careid) Conant of Chicago; Matthew (Sarah) Conant of Edgerton; and Jonathan Snow of Pala, CA; seven great grandchildren, Noah, Ava, Abbey Snow; Hudson, Audriana, Lincoln and Deacon Conant; a brother, Robert Craik of Vista, CA, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Snow; a grandson, Christopher Snow and a great grandson, Oliver Conant.
