Mrs. Norma Jean Hildebran, 70, of R.L. Hildebran Dr., Connelly Springs, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, at Carolinas Medical Center, following a period of declining health. Jean was born Nov. 26, 1940, in Mitchell County to Virginia Pittman Grindstaff and the late Lecil Grindstaff. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was the former owner and operator of the I-40 Trade Market in Connelly Springs. Survivors include her husband, Robert Lee Hildebran of the home; son, Ronnie Hildebran; daughter, Revonda Willis and husband, Dale; two brothers, Buddy Grind-staff and wife, Ruby, and Lecil Grindstaff, Jr., and wife, Brenda; granddaughter, Beth and husband, Michael; great-grandson, Tanner; and seven sisters-in-law and one brother in-law. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Landon Rice officiating. Interment will follow at the Hildebran family cemetery in Connelly Springs. The family will receive friends Saturday, Sept. 24, from 10:30 until 11 a.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church.
