Mr. G. W. Jarrett, 79, of Wynne died on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 in Memphis.
G. W. was born in Pleasant Hill, Arkansas on March 16, 1938 to Wilburn and Edith Jarrett. He loved his family and one of his favorite things to do was to drive around and check on his family and friends. He was a foreman for Halstead, and owned and operated Jarrett Trucking. He was a member of East Baptist Church.
Survivors are his son, Mark Jarrett and wife Brenda of Wynne, daughter, Sherri Jarrett of Jonesboro, grandchildren, Brittnay Getchell and husband Daniel of Wynne, Steven Jarrett and wife Alex of Wynne, Courtney Brazile and husband Matt of Harrisburg, Chelsea Crouch of Brookland, great grandchildren, Jackson and Madisyn Brazile, and Claira Davis, brothers, Larry and Stanley Jarrett, sister, Jannette Jarrett.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dot Jarrett in 2012, his parents, Wilburn and Edith Jarrett, brothers, Jackie Jarrett, Marlin Jarrett, Kenneth Jarrett, and sister Lillian Forrester.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 2:30 to 3:30 PM at Kernodle Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 3:30 at Kernodle Funeral Home with burial in Harris Chapel Cemetery.
