Carolyn Sue Hoffmann 57, of Bolckow, Missouri, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at her home. She was born July 22, 1960 in St. Joseph, MO. She graduated from Benton High School 1978 and worked for a short time at Monfort pork, however her heart was always in health care as a CNA, Level I Med Aide. She loved taking care of the elderly and disabled. She was a faithful member of the Faith Valley Church of God. Carolyn was preceded in death by father, Lloyd Turpin, mother, Alphonsine McCarty, sisters, Brenda Hook, Sharon Christensen, and Nancy Rowland. Survivors include, husband, Brian Hoffmann of the home, daughter, Chyrstal Traunernicht, King City, MO, son, Jason (Erin) Trauernicht, step sons, Jason Hoffmann, and Brian Hoffmann, step daughter, Kristi Hoffmann, grandchilden, Alex, Renee, Dereck, Sebastian, Zechariah, Lillianna, Donnie, and Izabella, brothers, Bill (Dawn) Turpin, Johnny (Carrie) McCarty, and Earl McCarty, twin sister, Marilyn McConnell, Carla Hamilton both of St. Joseph, MO, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am, on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Faith Valley Church of God, with Pastor Mark Smith officiating, The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the King Hill Cemetery.
