Mary Frances Offutt, 83, of Norman passed away November 21, 2017. She was born April 15, 1934 in Moore, Oklahoma to Leo Joseph and Julia Anne Gabrish.
Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had a special heart for the handicap community and volunteered a lot of her time helping them. Mary was an excellent seamstress, loved canning and sewing and was the proud winner of many blue ribbons at the County Fair. She was the 1st Key Club Winner in 4H and was a long-time member of the OHCE Clothier #15.
Mary was preceded death by her parents; son, Billy Dale Offutt; siblings: Jimmy, Dorothy, John, and Edith.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 65 years, Dale L. Offutt; children: Lee Offutt, Rosemary Wilkinson (Jesse), Sharon Sharp (Keith), and Patty Offutt (Gary); grandchildren: Richard Offutt (Heidi), Michael Wilkinson (Will), Julia Wilkinson (Jason), Benjamin Sharp, and Mary Sue Sharp; great grandson, Joseph Offutt; siblings: Bill Gabrish (Anna), Rose Anne Jackson (Butch) and Pat Gabrish (Barbara); and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at St. Josephs Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
