Mrs. Karen Denise Gee "Wilson" was born on October 10,1965 in Los Angeles California to Mr.Clifton Gee of Tyler,Tx. and Miss. Vonceil Neal. At the age of 11, Karen moved to Little Rock,California with her mother Mrs .Vonceil Neal-Stroud and her siblings where she attended Almondale Middle School and then on to Palmdale High School completing her freshman year. In August of 1980, she relocated back to Los Angeles area, after the untimely passing of her mother. Karen completed her high school education at Manual Arts High School where she later graduated with the class of 1983. She later attended Trade-Technical College. She later began working for the United States Department of Justice, Immigration and Naturalization Services as a part-time student worker. In 1989 Karen became very active with the Sun Village Chamber of Commerce,Sun Village Association and Jackie Robinson County Park. Karen was hired in 1990 by the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation as a Service Leader at Jackie Robinson County Park.Through Karen's dedication and hard work she was promoted to Recreation Services Supervisor in September 1999. In addition, to maintaining a full time job she managed to graduate in 1998 from Antelope Valley College in Lancaster,CA receiving her Associate of Science Degree. Karen was preceded in death by her mother; Mrs. Vonceil Neal "Stroud", Grandparents;Mr.Emerson Neal and Mrs. Zanie Warren "Neal". Survivors include her husband; Mr.Gregory W.Wilson,Palmdale,Ca.; Sons; Antonio Neal, Travis Wilson, Jamal Wilson, Rashad Wilson, all of Palmdale,Ca; Father; Mr. Clifton Gee of Tyler,Tx.; Step-father; Mr. Kenneth Stroud Sr. and Step-mother, Mrs. Phyllis Stroud of Atlanta,Ga; Brothers; Kenneth Stroud Jr. of Atlanta,Ga; Michael Stroud of Costa Rica; Justin Stroud of Palmdale,Ca; Sister;Yvonne Stroud of Palmdale,Ca. Special aunt; Mrs. Elsie Warren "Isaac" of Tyler, Texas.
