Samuel Warren Hardin, 55, of Belton, S.C. passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Rainey Hospice House.

Born October 25, 1962, in Gaffney, S.C., he was a son of Betty Jo Westmoreland Hardin and the late Samuel Eugene Hardin.

He was a graduate of Clemson University and a member of Belton Presbyterian Church, where he was a Sunday school teacher, former youth leader and an elder in the church. He had been employed at Koyo as a Product Launch Manager.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Karen Moore Hardin; daughter, Samantha Hardin; brother, George Hardin (Lillian) of Blacksburg, S.C.; sister, Patricia Edge (Eddie) of Gaffney, S.C.; two nephews, Charlie Edge (Caitlin) of Fairbanks, Ak. and Timothy Edge of Ft. Huachuca, Az.; great-niece, Emily Edge of Fairbanks, Ak. and great-nephew, Charlie Edge of Fairbanks, Ak.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Belton Presbyterian Church with Rev. Paul Bayerl officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will be at the home, 17240 Brown Avenue, Ext., Belton, S.C. and will receive friends there from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
