MOCKSVILLE, N.C. >> Joshua F. Wetzler of Mocksville, N.C. has been missing since July 2009. His body was found buried in a shallow grave in Clemmons, N.C. on Oct. 5, 2014.
Joshua was the son of Martha Wetzler of Canastota and Ronald Wetzler of Blossvale. He was a graduate of Canastota High School in 1995. Josh worked as a farrier in North Carolina.
Josh was predeceased by his brother, Jared Wetzler in 1999.
Josh is survived by his son, Jared C. Wetzler, and Jared's mother, Stacey Carter of Salisbury, N.C.; his parents, Martha Stooks Wetzler and Ron F. Wetzler; his maternal grandparents, George and Gerry Stooks of Woodgate, N.Y.; and his paternal grandfather, Marion 'Fred' Wetzler of Colorado. He is also survived by 41 aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
A funeral service will be held at the Whitelaw Presbyterian Church, North Main Street, Canastota, on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014 at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Wetzler Scholarshp Fund, 8156 Lewis Point Road, Canastota.
