Mitchell Ray Adams, 70, of Roanoke, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017. He worked for
iTT Night Vision for 39 years and was a proud union leader of the Local 162. He also served in the United States Navy. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Marie Adams; brother-in-law, Howard Sowers, and mother-in-law, Cathy Kelly.

Surviving family includes his wife of 31 years, Carol Adams; daughter, Tonya Lynskey and fiance, Stacy Meadows; son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell Ray, Jr. and Nichole Adams; sister, Joan Sowers; grandchildren, Caleb Lynskey, Madison Rose Adams, and Makayla Adams; extended family, Jeff and Brenda Moran, and Mervin Lee; sisters-in-law, Lisa and Danny Houser, Teresa and Charles White, and Sue and Keith Wilson; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Pat and Maxine Kelly, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton with Pastor David Jones officiating. The family recieved friends on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
