Mr. James L. Bramlett Sr., 82, passed away Saturday August 9th 2014 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home. He left this world to be with his wife Bonnie Davis Bramlett who passed in 2008, his mother Alma C. England who passed in 2009, his father J.C. Bramlett, his stepfather Albert England and two infant brothers.
Mr. Bramlett is survived by his daughter Bonnie Kay and husband Dennis Brown of West Virginia, a son James Bramlett Jr. and wife Barbara of Union eight grandchildren Melinda and husband James Martin, Melissa and husband Adam Bryant, John Gunter, James E. Bramlett and wife Crystal, Nathan Bramlett and wife Stacy, Bonnie Lee, Wanda and husband Richie Wicks, James L. Bramlett III and wife Holly, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren and host of brother and sister-in-laws, nieces nephews and a dear friend Roger Harris.
Mr. Bramlett was a Veteran having served in the Korean War. He was a top paint and body man in his life and also enjoyed traveling to florida and Alabama. He loved to sing, yodel, playing his harp and a good card game with the guys. He attended Lakeside Baptist Church and was a kind and loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 13th 2014 at 3pm at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Scott Cobb and Walter Parham officiating.
