Greta DeLillian Rexrode, 95, of 2015 West Beverly St., Staunton died 1:35 PM Thursday, January 13, 2005 at Augusta Medical Center in Fishersville. She was born November 4, 1909 in Sherando the daughter of the late Robert and Lillian Campbell Henderson. She was a member of Marquis Memorial United Methodist Church in Staunton and was retired from the Genesco Company of Verona. She enjoyed bingo and traveling. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Herbert Henderson, Odie Henderson, Nicholas Henderson, Aaron Henderson, David Henderson, sisters Inez Quick, Odessa Barker, Wynona Eutsler and Pearle Henderson. Survivors include one son Melvin Rexrode and his wife Carolyn of Woodbridge, one daughter Betty Jean Garrison of Staunton, one sister Crystal Coffey of Crimora, five grandchildren Alicia Rexrode, Cheryl Garrison, Michael Garrison, Karen Hegert and Melvyn Rexrode, two step great grandchildren Sheila DeHaven and Kyle Davis, and two great great grandchildren, Taylor DeHaven and Nicholas DeHaven. Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday January 17, 2005 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Funeral Service by Rev. Stanlee D. Kauffman with burial to follow in Augusta Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Marvin Henderson, Nicholas Davis, Landon Quick, William Barker, Arlen Eutsler, Robert Henderson, Everette Eutsler and Melvin Henderson. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Barker, William Barker, Jr., Chris Hudson, Kristy Hudson and Kathy Eutsler. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 PM on Sunday January 16, 2005 at Reynolds Funeral Service of Waynesboro.
