Patricia (Pat) Streetman Gantt, age 76, of Villa Rica passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 23, 2017 following an extended illness.

She was born on June 18, 1941 in Atlanta, GA and moved to Villa Rica with her family in 1950.

She graduated from Villa Rica High School in 1959 where she met her future husband of 25 years, William J. Gantt. After a number of years apart, they were happily reunited in love and spent the last two years together again. During their marriage, they had one special son, Michael H. Gantt of Chicago, IL.

Pat spent the first few years after high school working at Rock Inn Cafe followed by the next 14 years at Berry's Pharmacy. She was also involved in the Jaycee's, Lion's Club, Villa Rica Hospital Auxiliary and several other civic organizations. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Villa Rica for the last 67 years where she loved singing in the choir and being in the Sunshine Class.

Those that preceded her in death were her parents, the late Harlan G. Streetman and the late Alice Langford Streetman, also her brother, the late Harlan E. (Bud) Streetman.

She is survived by three sisters, Mary Kilgore of Douglasville, Avis Hembree of Villa Rica, and Joyce Smith, of Port Republic, VA; extended family.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. from the First Baptist Church Villa Rica with the Rev. Jeff Powell officiating. Burial will follow immediately at Glenn Memorial Gardens in Villa Rica.
