OKLA. ALLEN — Graveside services for Bobby Gean Handley, 70, Allen, are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Allen Cemetery, the Rev. Gabriel Gomez officiating. Family and friends may call at Criswell Chapel in Allen from noon today until service time
Wednesday.
Mr. Handley died Sept. 15, 2003, at his home. He was born March 10, 1933, to Ellis Leo and Versa Lola Cook Handley at Competition, Mo. He was a deputy sheriff in Camden County, Missouri, until his retirement.
Previously, he was a truck driver. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and was of the Pentecostal faith.
He and Wanda Lee Teubner were married March 11, 1975, at Waynesville, Mo.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Handley, of the home; three sons, Mike Handley, Allen, Charles Handley, of the home, Robert Handley, Stoutland, Mo.; six daughters, Melinda Drawbaugh and husband Randy, Arkansas, Connie Bakken and husband Joe, Dustin, Janet Gomez and husband Jose, Stillwater, Teressa Archer and husband Norman, Roche, Mo., Beverly Bishop, Independence, Mo., Barbara
Reeves and husband Ronald, Lebanon, Mo.; two brothers, Dean Handley and wife Bessie, Hermitage, Mo., Edward Handley and wife Sharon, Lebanon, Mo.; a sister, Lola King, Lebanon, Mo.; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Bearers are Jose Gomez, Joe Bakken, Abraham Gomez, Mike Handley, Randy Drawbaugh and Norman Archer.
