She worked in the machine shop at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, in Bremerton, Washington from 1943-46 and later was a housekeeper and caretaker until retiring in 1968.

On 3 March 1924 she married Alvin Oscar Johnson in Clay County, Minnesota

She married Clarence G. Geisert on 13 July 1957 in Bremerton, Washington.

Then on 22 June 1962 she married Lewis Norden Lee in Kitsap County, Washington.

Survivors include a son, Dale; two daughters, Dolores and Shirley; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
