Robbie Mae Willis August 25, 1924- October 7, 2015 Columbus, Georgia-
Robbie Mae Willis, 91, of Columbus, GA passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Columbus Hospice surrounded by her loving family. A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015, 1:00 P.M. at Parkhill Cemetery with Dr. Frank Parr officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:30 A.M.-12:30 P.M. in the St. Elmo Room of Striffler-Hamby, 4071 Macon Road. Mrs. Willis, daughter of the late George Washington Strickland and late Willie Lee Rollins, was born August 25, 1924 in Abbeville, AL. She was a homemaker and lifelong member of Fairview Baptist Church. Mrs. Willis loved spending time with her family, enjoyed sewing, cooking and reading. She was the co-founder of Willis Exterminating. Other than her parents, Mrs. Willis is preceded in death by her husband James "Jack" Howard Willis, son James Allen Willis, grandson Steven Willis and great great-grandson Matthew Willis. Survivors include her three children, Stanley Willis (Joyce) of Hamilton, GA, Glenn Willis (June) of Salem, AL, and Ramona Andresen (Andy) of Columbus, GA; grandchildren Jimbo Willis (Jean), Cary Willis (Debbie), Rob Willis (Kathy), Robin Crowley, Amanda Morgan, Meredith Duke (Dennis), John Willis and Lee Andresen; great grandchildren Jessica Willis, Dustin Willis, Christopher Willis, Kimberly Willis, Casey Willis, Jayla Willis, Justin Willis, Nathan Willis; great great-grandchildren Katie Crowley, Olivia Morgan and Kaylee Willis; other relatives and friends.
